Running through Daniel Boone National Forest in Kentucky, Broke Leg Falls consists of several streams and waterfalls, with the main attraction cascading 60 feet into a picturesque canyon. Due to a violent tornado, the falls and canyon are beautifully eerie. The base of the waterfall pools to make a perfect swimming hole. The Kentucky Wildlands, the vast natural space of gorgeous wilderness across eastern and southern Kentucky, just unveiled a new trail, aptly named The Kentucky Wildlands Waterfall Trail, that guides hikers to many of the state's most gorgeous waterfalls. Branch State Nature Preserve in Kentucky boasts streams, boulder-strewn creek edges, wet rock faces, pine barrens and a spectacular 60-foot waterfall.
